ABOUT US

Welcome to The Howling Gibbon—where learning goes outside, adventures come standard, and the wildlife occasionally steals the show. We run residential outdoor and experiential education programmes designed to get young people thinking about the planet and their place on it.

Our programmes take students beyond the classroom and into the living world, where learning is hands-on, meaningful, and unforgettable. We tackle global challenges, celebrate nature’s wonders, and encourage every individual to take action toward a more sustainable future.

Located just two hours from Bangkok, right beside the rich ecosystems of Khao Yai National Park, our centre offers the perfect environment to learn, explore, and be inspired by the natural world.

Why Choose Us for Outdoor Learning?

Inspire. Learn. Transform.

Our approach is simple. We believe that learning is best when students experience things first-hand. That’s why we pride ourselves on getting students out of the classroom and into the outdoors, so they can experience the natural world for themselves.

At The Howling Gibbon, learning really has gone wild. Our outdoor programmes are hands-on, flexible and can be fully customised to meet your needs.

We are located in the ideal setting for outdoor learning and adventure near Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our outdoor centre is conveniently located just a two hour drive from Bangkok making it easy to get to us from anywhere in the city, including Bangkok's airports.

We are based on the Khao Yai Campus of St. Stephen's International School, which offers a safe and nurturing environment for residential-based outdoor education.
